Teacher Mini-grants
During the 2020-21 School year the SBMA Board launched a new mini-grant program. They provided over $5000 in funding support to El Segundo music teachers, assisting with expenses related to the pandemic. The Board finds the support of the music teachers to be a priority and will continue this financial support in future years.
SBMA helps to fund the award winning band program at El Segundo High School including the ES High School Marching Band. Since 2009 SBMA has provided over $750,000 in support through this relationship.
Ensembles include the Eagle Pride Marching Band, the El Segundo High School Symphonic Band, and the El Segundo High School Concert Band.
