EAGLE BAND

Many came, laughed and supported?

Together we raised over $22,000. Thank you!

The El Segundo Eagles Marching Band combines a tradition of musical excellence and hard work to rightfully earn a reputation as a leading Southern California High School Marching Band. Comprised of talented instrumentalists and masterful marchers, the true magic of our collaborative efforts shine through with each and every performance.

The program is primarily funded through fundraising and donations from family, friends and our community.

The South Bay Music Association, in coordination with band parents, is the primary support channel for the ESHS Eagle Band.

High School Band Spring Concert

Held Friday, June 1st, at the El Segundo Performing Arts Center, ESHS band director Robert Soto was the eloquent master of ceremonies and conductor for this musical evening. The performance began with the rousing rendition from Les Miserable and the program included music from other movie favorites.

During the concert seniors were awarded their four-year honor cords, which they will be wearing at the High School graduation.

Statewide, there was a loss of funding from Sacramento for school programs. The El Segundo Unified School District approached the South Bay Music Association to help raise money to keep the award-winning high school band program intact. Many of the high school band parents joined forces with SBMA to establish a number of different programs to bring in money.

Through generous contributions from our audiences, sponsors, band members, and the tireless work of high school band parents, we have raised more than $50,000 during this past school year.
